LoginKMITL's Students Achieve the Startup University Championship: U-LEAGUE CHALLENGE 2018
Students of King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang win the national startup prize of university championship level from the work "The Cervical Cancer HPV Quick Testing Kit Spending Only 5 Minutes"
The competition was organized at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center by The National Innovation Agency (NIA), Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST), on the event of the "STARTUP Thailand 2018" – U-LEAGUE CHALLENGE 2018, to award the final national start-up competition prizes for the university championship level, the event was on May 20, 2018,
There are 4 regional championship teams competing in the final round of the national competition;
-The Southern championship team, the "Fifth Gear", from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), from the work of the "The Accessory Mounting Kit for Smart Bicycle" that can record biking trips with GPS coordination, alert SOS (Save Our Souls) for being helped when an accident happened on the road, alarm if someone tries to steal a bike, and also can claim insurance from leading insurance companies.
- The representative Northern Championship team, the “Easy Gas”, from Silpakorn University(SU), from the work of "Biomass Gas Producing for Household Usage" by using biomethane gas from biodegradation of food waste to be used instead of liquid petroleum gas or LPG and sensor installed to warn when the gas volume in the tank becomes too low.
-The representative Central Region Championship team, “The Guardian”, from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), from the work of “The Intelligent Surveillance System for the Elderly and the Disabled"; warning of emergency happening to the elderly or the disabled to the nursing through calling and messaging to be able to urgent help speeding up for emergency support and timely treatment.
-The representative Northeastern Championship team, “The Bionanomer” from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang (KMITL), from the work of "The Cervical Cancer HPV Quick Testing Kit Spending Only 5 Minutes" by detecting the HPV (Human Papillomavirus) that is at high risk of Oncogenic type, the major cause of the cervical cancer ...
From the final contest, the first prize winner team of the STARTUP THAILAND LEAGUE 2018 was Bionanomer from King Mongkut's Institute of Technology Ladkrabang(KMITL), from the work of “LADYKIT”, The Cervical Cancer HPV Quick Testing Kit Spending Only 5 Minutes, the instant cervical cancer screening kit that can rapidly report the result within 5 minutes. The first runner up team was the FIFTH GEAR from Prince of Songkla University (PSU), and the second runner up team was the Guardian from King Mongkut's University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT), and the honorable one from the team EASY GAS from Silpakorn University (SU).
